Jumping Boots

Jumping Boots

Lightweight, protective and engineered for performance over fences

Our jumping boots are selected for their exceptional fit, protection and performance. Designed specifically for showjumping, these boots protect your horse from interference injuries while allowing maximum freedom of movement. High‑quality jumping boots minimise weight, avoid bulk and maintain feel over the poles—key factors for confident, efficient jumping.

High‑Performance Jumping Boots

Top‑end jumping boots, such as the Veredus Carbon Gel Vento, use advanced materials including:

  • Carbon fibre strike zones
  • Impact‑absorbing gel
  • Double‑vented airflow systems
  • Lightweight anatomical shells

These features offer maximum protection without compromising agility or comfort.

More economical jumping boots use a durable moulded shell with a neoprene lining—ideal for everyday training or riders working within a smaller budget.

Closures & Fit

Most premium jumping boots feature the elastic pin‑hook closure, which not only looks smart but also pivots to distribute pressure evenly across the leg. This ensures a secure, comfortable fit even during sharp turns or big efforts.

Competition Rules

All of our tendon boots are permitted for competition. However, hind jumping boots are more tightly regulated. When competing under British Showjumping, British Eventing or FEI rules in Young Horse, junior or amateur classes, you must use Young Horse fetlock boots with a single wide, non‑elastic Velcro strap. Always check the latest rulebook for your governing body.

We stock a wide range of jumping boots from leading technical manufacturers, including:

Pony” typically refers to a size Small suitable for 148cm ponies and up.

  • Zandona, the only jumping specialist with a dedicated pony mould for shorter cannon bones
