Details

eQuick eArtik cooling boots provide an easy and effective solution for cooling your horse’s legs.

The tough, structured outer is hard wearing and comfortable. The shape is designed to conform easily to any limb, meaning that eArtik cooling boots can be used interchangeable on front and hind legs.

eQuick  eArtik  boots come with reusable, completely atoxic, gelatine bags which can be left in the freezer. When needed, they simply slip into the mesh panels on the inside of the boot. Cold therapy is usually recommended for twenty minute periods, but the ice packs will stay cold for up to two hours.

eArtik gelatine bags are also microwavable at low heat for use as warming treatment.

Secured with three generous Velcro straps.

Sold as a pair and supplied with a zipped, canvas carry case.

One size.

Machine washable at 30 degrees. Ensure that the gelatine bags are removed and the Velcro straps are closed before placing in the machine.

*Our note on the eQuick eArtik cooling boots: the eArtik is a quality, fuss-free ice boot. The gelatine packets slip in and out easily, with the mesh to provide a protective barrier between the ice pack and your horse’s leg.

More about Hot and Cold Therapy

Cold therapy is one of the most effective methods for alleviating soft tissue-related aches and pains of hardworking horses.

With the eArtik boots cold therapy we can aid the healing of musculoskeletal new and old injuries, and also help prevent them.

Cold therapy can also become an everyday treatment for your horse. When a horse is working hard, capillaries, tendons and ligaments expand and when work stops, that excess flow can persist. With cold therapy we can close up the vessels, and restore the post workout circulatory conditions.

Ideal for bruising, sprains, injuries, and whenever cold application is required. You can also treat strains, ligament and tendon damage.

Always consult your vet in the case of injury and use caution when apply hot or cold therapy.
